Nautilus 5711/1A
The steel sports watch that redefined luxury.
Ref. 5711/1A-010 · Released 2006 · Switzerland
Conceived after the 1970s quartz crisis, the Nautilus took its porthole silhouette from a ship's hatch: a rounded octagonal bezel with two lateral 'ears' clamped over a monobloc case.
The 5711 refined the original Jumbo into a 40 mm three-hand watch with a date, an integrated bracelet milled from solid steel, and the horizontally embossed blue-grey dial that became the most requested dial in modern watchmaking.
